General Guidelines
Ghost Ocean is open for submissions year round. We accept simultaneous submissions as long as you notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. We only accept electronic submissions through our new submission manager, Submishmash. You may submit up to 5 poems or works of flash fiction.
We will respond to your submission as quickly as possible, but we are busy bees and you outnumber us. Please be patient.
Typical wait time is 2-3 months, though possibly quite sooner. If it has been 4 months since you've submitted, feel free to query. Perhaps we have been immobilized by the grandeur of your submission. Send queries to heather@ghostoceanmagazine.com
